It's so fun to play with chips of color with no form, drawing, or angst of 'how to make a painting'. This is pure exploration for the joy of pushing paint around. Sort your own photos and try some color swatch mixes.
Choose photos with near/mid/far groupings of value. Or zoom in to try some leaves.
If you want to get structure & mass try drawing for leaves turning, or shapes of trees.
This lesson is more about color dots and bands in the landscape. Also understanding paint pigment qualities & mixing color. It's important to understand light, medium and dark greens. Plus warm/cool greens before we go to the colorful gardens segment (coming up!). Enjoy this process!
