Redoing a painting with layers can be a great way to achieve texture and find the original spark of inspiration. In this part 2 of the Red Rock demo I restate my painting and end up with a better result.

Part 2 of the demo is optional, but do try this method with any painting you feel needs more work... or just that little extra 'something'.
