Fun color and confident brushwork happen from knowing the structure of a painting: Value (Light, Medium and Dark); and "Big Shapes".

24x36" oil on Centurion Linen pre-streched canvas. All media primed.

"Adobe" custom mix from Vasari is shown in the mixing section. I show how this color can be made.
