Part 1: Simple figures from memory, thinking only about light/dark and variety of edges and shapes. I included photos for examples of how these concepts can relate to any photo or plein air situation.

Part 2: More complex (from a photo, shown) concept 1 plus sun/shadow.

Part 3: Pavement & building color shown in sun/shadow warm/cool example

Create simple and more complex figure studies to get comfortable adding these elements into your work. Use your own photos (when you are ready for the more complex demo)
