In this short video I look at the the 2 main reference photos used for the watercolor and oil demos. Clarify light/dark areas and group objects according to value. Avoid singular objects such as building, tree, sky.
Sort your own reference for an urban scene with flowering trees and buildings, or use reference provided with the demos. Remember it helps to see value and color relationships in person. Color dot studies on location can be very useful for taking back to the studio.
