This video shows the process of how to restate a painting after scraping and wiping out. The paint panel is wet and was done after a live class demo.
Note Kolinsky sable brushes (shown last) are difficult to purchase in the USA currently due to import issues. An acrylic brush or badger hair brush will have the same soft feel and look.
Take courage to 'redo' a fresh painting. It's important after painting for 2 hours to take a break. This is often when I will want to repaint or scrape down a painting. This is not to be seen as bad, or as a failure, rather think of this as part of the art process. All segments of the painting should be harmonious and relate to each other. When painting this balance gets off. Also when painting for a while it's possible to loose focus on the 'whole'. This scrape and redo process brings the art into balance again.
